Alcoa Wins Airbus Contract

Alcoa has won a multi-year supply agreement with Airbus - valued at approximately $110m - for titanium and aluminium aerospace forgings. Under the contract Alcoa will supply titanium parts, including forgings used to connect the wing structure to Airbus for the engines of the A320neo. The parts will be produced using its 50,000-ton press in Cleveland, Ohio. The agreement also includes several large aluminium forgings for the A330 and A380.
