Embraer Rolls Out Improved E175s

Embraer has rolled out the first E175 to feature a range of aerodynamic improvements at its São José dos Campos facility. The improvements include the introduction of a new wingtip, systems optimisation, and streamlining of aerodynamic surfaces. The first customer delivery of the E175 with the complete package of modifications is expected in the coming weeks. The manufacturer said that trials showed 6.4 per cent lower fuel consumption than the original E175.
