Gulfstream Brazil moves to bigger MRO facilities

The business jet manufacturer has confirmed it is moving its maintenance operations at Bertram Luiz Leupolz Airport in Soracaba in Brazil to larger facilities on the site. The new 3,230sq-m hanger is due to come into operation in mid-July and includes a 100sqm bonded parts warehouse.

Gulfstream has also confirmed that throughout the World Cup, which starts tomorrow (June 12), it will be operating a dedicated G150 aircraft from Sorocaba, that will deliver flight-essential parts and technicians to customers who are in Brazil for the event and whose craft are under warranty. The support team will include one flight operations technician and 12-13 airframe, powerplant and avionics technicians.
