Messier-Bugatti-Dowty Opens Landing Gear Facility

Messier-Bugatti-Dowty, a Safran company, has opened a new landing gear production facility at its plant in Mirabel, near Montréal.

The C$58m investment, which received a grant of C$7.4m from the Quebec Government, features two new machining lines, major industrial machinery and equipment such as numerical control machine tools, and systems for special processes. The new facility aims to reduce production lead times and meet the growing needs of customers. The company currently supplies structural landing gear parts for the 787, A350, A320, A330 and A380.
