Avionics giant Rockwell Collins has named Jeffrey MacLauchlan as senior vice-president of corporate development.
MacLauchlan is taking over the role from Dr Barry Abzug, who is set to retire in December after 13 years with the company.
MacLauchlan will be responsible for Rockwell Collins' corporate strategy, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and intellectual property functions.
MacLauchlan joins Rockwell Collins after a 30-year career at Lockheed Martin. Most recently MacLauchlan worked as VP of corporate development and led on 20 significant merger and acquisition deals and the formation of dozens of joint ventures.
