Safran Nacelles, a division of Safran producing and repairing engine nacelles, has appointed Pierre Cottenceau as VP of its engineering division.
Cottenceau joined Safran Aircraft Engines in 2011 as chief engineer for the LEAP-1B engine program, before taking roles heading up the design office of controls and externals and most recently, being director of the propulsion system design unit.
Safran says it now fits nacelles for more than 18,000 in-service engines, which is also provides repair support for.
Earlier this year, Safran Nacelles added to its aftermarket offerings by launching a new service for its aircraft engine nacelle systems.
NacelleLife, a maintenance and support program, will provide solutions from the point of an aircraft's first service entry through to the end of its life.
