Taiwan’s AIDC To Supply A320 Panels

Airbus has signed a contract with the Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC), a state-owned Taiwanese aerospace company, to supply composite panels for the aft belly fairings of the A320 family of aircraft. The contract promotes AIDC to a first tier supplier for Airbus; currently the firm produces horizontal stabiliser auxboxes and leading edges for the 787 for Alenia Aeronautica which supplies the assembled stabiliser to Airbus.
