Zodiac Aerospace has completed the acquisition of TriaGnoSys, the German in-flight connectivity, wireless entertainment and cabin systems specialist. TriaGnoSys will become part of Zodiac Inflight Innovations (ZII) and will provide in-flight Internet and GSM technology as well as other advanced communications technologies. Larry Girard, EVP, ZII, described the acquisition as “an important step in an overall connectivity strategy allowing us to provide IFEC [in-flight entertainment and communications] solutions to the market”. He also said that TriaGnoSys’ technology fits well with ‘RAVE’, Zodiac’s IFE system which enables in-flight Internet and GSM to passengers’ phones, tablets and laptops. Following the acquisition, Zodiac can now offer a complete cabin interior, including advances in seat and IFEC integration.
