Commsoft has announced that Corendon Dutch Airlines will implement the company’s OASES MRO software. The contract win is not only the company’s first for 2018, but its first customer in the Netherlands as well.
The airline, which operates charter flights to destinations around the Mediterranean, will use OASES to support its fleet of three Boeing 737-800s. According to Commsoft, the airline will use the software’s Core, Airworthiness, Materials, Line Maintenance Control and Planning modules. The airline is also interested in adding the proposed Compliance module when it becomes available.
Nick Godwin, Commsoft’s managing director, says initial implementation meetings with Corendon Dutch Airlines already have begun and they are planning to have the software go live in time for the airline’s peak season.
In addition to this latest contract, Commsoft recently announced a total of 20 new OASES customer wins across Europe, Africa and Asia for 2017, including a variety of airlines and maintenance organizations. “With 20 new direct contracted customers in total, 2017 was an outstanding year for us. Particularly exciting was the truly global spread of these new customers,” says Godwin.
OASES is used by more than 130 aviation customers across 55 countries, according to the company. “Support for OASES is not just growing but growing internationally,” says Godwin. “2018’s outlook is already looking strong, but we must keep focus,” he adds.
