FlightSafety International has conducted a ground breaking ceremony to mark the expansion and renovation of its Learning Center in Teterboro, New Jersey. According to FlightSafety, the Learning Center will increase in size by 50 per cent once the expansion and extensive renovations have been completed. The facility will accommodate up to eight full flight simulators, and offer modern facilities for flight crew emergency training that includes a pool and other specialised equipment. It will also feature advanced technology classrooms, aircraft cabin training facilities, and enhanced office areas. Construction is expected to be completed early in 2014.
