Lufthansa Technik Builds Up Aviatar Offering

The open digital platform was launched by the MRO giant in April 2017.

Lufthansa Technik’s AVIATAR has added three new apps, and ten partners and customers are now working with AVIATAR as over 1,000 aircraft are live on the platform.

PartsMate and marc are two new apps that offer a simplified overview of material availability of certain components worldwide and save time and effort.

PartsMate grants partners access to a pool of certified components and so enables airlines to simplify their material inventory management and share available parts with others online through loan and exchange transactions.

Marc, for major asset real-time components, offers the transparent online location of particularly large spare parts such as inlet cowls, thrust reversers and radomes worldwide. Offers for urgently needed components can be obtained directly in the application.

In addition to more common components, marc includes serviceable parts for Airbus A350s, A320neos, Boeing 747-8s and 787s. And APU Health Management is AVIATAR’s app generated from specific APU performance reports.
