Seabury Solutions, a subsidiary of aviation consultancy Seabury Group, recently added the three airlines of Amaszonas Líneas Aéreas Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay to the customer base of its Alkym technical management software. More than 80 companies now use Alkym.
John Barry, senior vice president for Seabury Solutions, says Alkym, formerly provided by Volartec, is popular because, “it offers an integrated solution for technical, logistics, regulatory and MRO operations. It creates one version of the truth for the airline.” In addition, dashboards give clear insights into live operational information.
Barry argues that Alkym can be used by airlines of any size. “Currently, it is used by low-cost carriers, regional carriers and national flag carriers across the globe.”
The next release of Alkym will include enhanced training and human resources modules. In 2016, Seabury also plans to launch a line maintenance application for Alkym that will be a web-enabled mobile solution. And Barry’s roadmap envisions adding e-signature capabilities to Alkym in the first quarter of 2017.
